A General contract was signed between Sony, Japan (general contractor) and the Turkmenistan  State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography on the official launch of the Project for the complete re-equipment of the TV Tower in Ashgabat (Turkmenistan) with modern professional equipment.

The result of three years joint negotiations and consultations with the participation of company Sony, Japan (general contractor) and the Turkmenistan State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography was the resolution of the President of Turkmenistan on the start of signing a contract for the complete re-equipment of the TV Tower in Ashgabat (Turkmenistan) with modern professional equipment.
